PAU CASALS ROUTE WITH ORGAN MUSIC

The Pau Casals Birth House, the Vil•la Museu Pau Casals and the Pau Casals Auditorium, in collaboration with the Vendrell Friends of the Organ association, organise guided tours of the areas frequented by Pau Casals and a session of organ music in the parish church of Vendrell.

This visit allows visitors to explore all the haunts of the Master. The visits are held on Saturday 11 June, Saturday 23 July, Saturday 13 August, Saturday 24 September, Saturday 22 October and Saturday 17 December.
The visits start out at the birth house of Pau Casals, where a talk will be given about his childhood and connections with Vendrell. From there, a guide will accompany visitors to the church to learn more about the past and present of Vendrell. At the church, the group will go to the choir stalls, where they will be given an explanation about the organ and can then listen to music played by the organist performing in concert the previous day.
After listening to the music, the group will visit Sant Salvador and have free time to visit the Vil•la Museu Pau Casals and have a guided tour of the Pau Casals Auditorium.

Places can be reserved in advance at any of the museums (Birth house, Vil•la museum or call 977 18 13 88 to arrange a visit).
The number of places is limited.
