The Pau Casals Museum

The Pau Casals Museum is located in the summerhouse that Pau Casals had built on the beach of Sant Salvador, in the municipality of El Vendrell. Your visit will allow you to discover the life and human legacy of one of the most important musicians of the 20th century and at the same time enjoy a unique heritage space.

Located less than an hour from Barcelona and only twenty minutes from Tarragona, it has a magnificent neoclassical garden with sea views and shop and restaurant services. The museum offers a stable program of activities and exhibitions aimed at all audiences throughout the year.

Declared by the Generalitat de Catalunya a Museum of National Interest due to its importance and the value of the set of goods it preserves, it presents an interactive, dynamic and participatory visit with a story that explains the figure of Pau Casals in all its dimensions as a musician, reinforcing the human and updated aspect of his legacy.
